Samsung J1 is yet another release from Samsung this year 2015 under budget range.As promised ,Samsung released J series for budget and with high-end specifications.
The J series went popular among the youths after successful sales of Samsung J5 and J7.As success of the J series is High end specification with low-cost.
As both J5 and J7 are above 12,000 Rupees and Samsung release J! and J2 under 10,000 Rupees range that meets the blend of Budget and Specifications.
Specifications and Review of Samsung J1
The Phone is equipped with 4.3 inches TFT display with 217 Pixel per inches density and do support Multi touch.The display is to body ratio is 53% which makes the phone looks broad and gives average look.
The Samsung J1 has 5 MP camera at rear and 2 MP front facing camera.These days 5 and 2 MP camera is not useful,at this price range Samsung should have equipped least of 8 MP rear camera.
But the fact is Samsung 5 MP gives real 5 MP camera quality pictures and videos unlike other companies 13 MP camera gives 5 MP quality pictures and Videos.
The Rear Camera Comes with LED Flash.The Camera supports 720p videos at 30 frames per second which is not bad.
The front camera is 2 MP for Selfies and does have flash.
The motherboard is made by Chinese based Semiconductor Company Spreadtrum .
The Samsung J1 is equipped with outdated CPU and GPU.
The Samsung J1 has Dual-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz which is very poor and slow for the applications these days.
The GPU of Samsung J1 has Mali-400 which also outdated which is released in 2011.
The outdated Samsung J1’s CPU and GPU is not enough to run latest Games and Applications.However major applications may run smoothly but today 3D games may not run smoothly.

Samsung J1 is equipped with 512 MB Ram and 4 GB internal memory which is very low by latest standards.
Yes,Meizu M2 comes with external memory card slot for additional memory and supports up to 128 GB.
The phone has customized Android 4.4.4 operating system ,Kit-Kat and again it is outdated OS
Dual Sim Supported and does not comes with 4G support which is big disadvantage these days
Samsung J1 comes with 1850 mAh removable battery which is enough for this Outdated Spec Phone.
Samsung J1 made from Poly-carbonate Plastic that give Cheap look and feel and the design is poor
The Phone is as heavy as 122 grams for a 4.3 Inch phone is really bad.
This phone is priced at Rs 6,190 in November 2015 is not worth at all better buy other Companies phone at this price range such as Meizu M2 or Redmi 2 which offers great features.
Poor and Outdated specification in 2015 and does not have any Wow factor to consider,and even Samsung fan will never think of this phone
